The two songs "Peaceful Snow" & "The Maverick Chamber" are the first new material to come to light since 'The Rule of Thirds'. These new tracks offer not only the same radical departure from more complex song arrangements as in the previous album but this time also a departure from the use of acoustic guitar as the instrument chosen to accompany Douglas Pearce’s voice is the piano played by Miro Snejder. Some might be tempted to say this is a new direction for Death In June yet we have to disagree, as for almost 30 years this has been a ship that has maintained it’s course against all odds.
