Re-release, with the same Tracks on CD and DVD as the original limited CD-BOOK version! 2006 definitely was the year of Moi Dix Mois, one of those very rare bands who had a start as glorious as that of great Gothic icons such as London After Midnight or ASP years before them. Mana, brain and heart behind Moi Dix Mois, is supported by Malicer Mizer, a support band whose cult performance is similar to that of Rozz Williams' Christian Death or Sopor Aeternus. The special and unique features of both Moi Dix Mois and Malicer Mizer are the detailed arrangements of music, stage and video clips which have hitherto not been achieved by any other band. Hymn-like Gothic keyboards, impelling drums, melancholy guitars, captivating vocals, eerie lyrics, apocalyptic end of the world scenarios: this music perfectly unites what the heart of a real Goth yearns for. From the first to the last tone “Bara no Seidou” contains the most inspiring dark music that has been burned on CD for a long time. Unbelievable but true, the high-class ‘Best of’ Bonus-DVD “Cardinal” easily surpasses this level by using a certain kind of magic. The elaborately produced video clips in movie quality are set in an aesthetic world in Victorian times: pale faces and strict dress codes- an age of sombre and quiet romance. A stunning masterpiece - terrific in visualization, acoustic presentation and acting performance.
