Lost World is a musical trio, and its musicians come from Russia. They created the band ten years ago, as they were students in the musical conservatory of Moscow, and already released an album in 2001. The three of them are virtuosos, Vassily Soloviev on flute and percussion, the composer A.Didorenko on guitars and violins, A.Akimov on keyboards, percussion and programming. These twelve instrumental pieces reveal a very high musical level, a very dynamic and lively music, with incredible violin parts, frantic but not heavy rythms, suggestive melodies. Due to these elements it may recall here or there UK or Kansas, but this music is absolutely personal, influenced by classical composers and progressive music. Magnificent!
